7. (1) Any sun which is due from a person subject

to the jurisdiction of the Court in respect of Chinese taxation to which such person is liable in accordance with Articles 6 and 16(3) of the Treaty signed at

may be recovered by civil proceedings at the suit of the competent Chinese authority, and for this purpose the Court shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute as to the amount so due from such para93.

(2) The rrt shall apply the legally enacted and duly promulgated laws, ordinances and regulations of the central, provincial and municipal Governments of ine to such extent as may be necessary for the determination of any questions of liability or amount due in accordance with this article.

9. (1) This Order shall take effect on such day as the Minister shall by public notification appoint.
